West Texas native James Edwin “J.E.” Tucker of Summers and Greenbrier counties, West Virginia, departed from his earthly vessel on Wednesday, January 21, 2015, at the age of 63.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Judith Sjoberg Tucker; sister, Betty Sue Tucker Hisey and her spouse, Bill Hisey; six children, Daniel Tucker and spouse, Sherri Hepler Tucker, Samuel Tucker, Benjamin Tucker and spouse, MaryBeth Windon Tucker, Nathaniel Tucker and spouse, Melanie Cibrowski Tucker, Elizabeth Tucker Weakley and spouse, Seth Weakley, and Rachael Tucker Cooper and spouse, Jess Cooper; and 12 grandchildren, Caleb, Hannah, Abigail, Elijah, Skye, Bryce, Kryslen, Josiah, Trenton, Jess, Alexis, and Faith.
His passing was preceded by his sister, Barbara Ann Tucker; and his parents, Winona Kitchens and Thomas James “T.J.” Tucker.
A memorial celebration will be held at Rhema Christian Center in Fairlea, WV, on Saturday, January 24, 2015, at 4 PM.
Visitation will begin at 3 PM at the church on Saturday.
