Nancy Mason Thomas, 79, of Lewisburg, WV, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2015, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Ronceverte, WV.
She was born February 15, 1935, at Auto, WV, the only child of the late James Bryson and Hattie Grey Bruffey Copeland.
Nancy was a member of the Lewisburg United Methodist Church, the Eastern Star, Red Hat Society, and the American Legion Auxiliary.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Thomas, in 1988.
She is survived by two sons, Mark Thomas and wife, Linda, of Leesburg, VA, and Tony Thomas of Dunn, NC; and five grandchildren, Jennifer Thomas of Chicago, IL, Kaitlin Thomas and Christian Thomas, both of Leesburg, and Lisa Thomas Aiken and Eric Thomas, both of Dunn.
Funeral services for Mrs. Thomas will be held Sunday, January 11, 2015, at 2 PM at the Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg with the Rev. Rick Brown officiating. Interment will follow at the Rosewood Cemetery in Lewisburg.
The family will receive their relatives and friends on Saturday, January 10, from 6-8 PM at the funeral home in Lewisburg.
