Travis Wayne Cox, 36, of Ronceverte, WV, passed away Monday, January 5, 2015, at the Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Ronceverte.
Born April 5, 1978, at Ronceverte, Travis was the son of Nancy Rutherford Gabbert of Ronceverte.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and two uncles.
Along with his mother, Nancy, Travis is survived by his children, Tyler and Bre Cox, and their mother, LeeAnn Cox, all of Fort Spring, WV; his companion, Virginia Sofil, and her children, Santana and Aaron Sofil; two brothers, Tim Rutherford and Earl Cox; a sister, Bobbi Jo Steep and companion, Jeff; special friends, Linda and Jackie Burdette; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
A memorial service is scheduled for Thursday, January 8, 2015, at 2 PM at the Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg, WV, with Pastor Youel Altizer officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
