John White, or John Albert as most knew him, our beloved father, pap (Pappy), brother, and dear friend.
John served as a stable manager for the West Virginia State Fair for 60 years, before retiring around the age of 80. He still came every year after to help with the draft horses and encourage his children and grandchildren as they grew to love this unique group of people.
John was involved with many organizations through the years involving the community of horses. He inspired many youth to stay involved and grow in the horse industry, giving many of them nicknames they still wear with pride. Generations of people will remember the name, John Albert White, for years to come.
Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Parks Lee White.
Survivors include his daughter, Katie Hannah White; sons, William Thomas White (Marilou), Timothy Parks White (Kristi), R. J.
