HARRAH
Max Powell Harrah, 79, of Lewisburg, WV, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2022, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center.
Born April 7, 1943, in Asbury, WV, he was the son of the late John Milton “Mitt” Harrah and Elsie Vivian Hanna Harrah. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Patty Mall Harrah and Margie Phyllis Linn.
Survivors include his children, Michael Harrah (Jennifer) of Asbury, WV, and Melissa Garrett (Mike) of Roanoke, VA; brothers, Pat Harrah of Covington, VA, and Paul Harrah (Arlene) of Arizona; grandchildren, Stephanie, Sydnie, Jaime, Shannon, Holly, Ian, and Maddy; great-grandchildren, Mariah and Dylan; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 12 Noon, Saturday, December 17, 2022, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ray Propps officiating. Burial will follow in the Asbury Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, December 16, 2022, at the funeral home.
