New River Community and Technical College will offer free parking to TOOT guests in the large lot behind the school. Handicap accessible parking will be located at the City National Bank lot and the municipal lot behind the city green space located on Route 219.

Additional parking will be available in the city’s municipal lot on Foster Street East, as well as in designated parking spaces surrounding the downtown areas.

Carnegie Hall and the city of Lewisburg would like to remind the community that the streets in downtown Lewisburg will be closed from 7 a.m. until approximately 4 p.m. on Oct. 8. Washington Street will be closed from Lafayette to Church Street.

Food vendors, art block, and entertainment will continue on Church Street, which will also be closed from Washington Street to McElhenny. South Court Street will be closed from Foster to Randolph Street. Route 219 will remain open to thru traffic, with local authorities providing traffic direction.

All cars parked along festival routes must be moved prior to the streets closing, or by 5:30 a.m. Cars may be towed at the owner’s expense.

MTA is running a shuttle back and forth from Wal-Mart throughout the event and will drop off at corner of Court and Randolph, and Walmart close to the gas station.
