RONCEVERTE (WVDN) – The American Heritage Music Hall, located on Island Park in Ronceverte, has announced its fall season.
The purpose of the American Heritage Music Hall is to promote live music of all types to carry on the area’s music heritage and includes old time, country, bluegrass, folk, blues, jazz, and storytelling.
It is family oriented with all ages welcome. No drugs, alcohol, or smoking is permitted.
The American Heritage Music Hall is non-profit organization established 1998 and is the recipient of “Spirit of West Virginia” Award.
Organizers Bill Evans and Grace Poe say they are excited to share the upcoming fall lineup.
Each month the Music Hall will present Jammin’ Sessions every Tuesday night from 7-10 pm. Admission includes a variety of food, coffee, water, and soft drinks that the audience brings in and donates.
Jammin’ Session dates for Tuesday nights in October: Oct. 4,11,18, and 25.
Also, on Saturday Oct. 15, from 2-6 p.m., there will be a chili dinner. The menu includes delicious homemade chili with crackers and choice of grilled cheese or peanut butter sandwich along with a dessert and drink. Dine in our carry out.
Mark your calendars for Saturday, Oct. 22, from 7-10:30 p.m., when The American Heritage Music Hall will feature Johnny King and Highlands Blue Band. King’s mix of blues, country and Americana appeals to all fans of all genres. They recently appeared at Carnegie Hall in Lewisburg.
Jammin’ Session dates for Tuesday nights in November: Nov. 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29.
In November, the second annual Winter Wonderland Crafter/Vendor Show will be held on Friday, Nov. 11, from 2-6 p.m., and Saturday, Nov. 12, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. It will be a great time to see beautiful decorations and purchase gifts.
The fall performers in November will be Walt and Rich’s Country Pride on Saturday, Nov. 26, from 7-10:30 p.m.
Jammin’ Session dates for Tuesday nights in December: Dec. 6, 13, 20, and 27.
The American Heritage Music Hall’s New Year’s Eve party will put you in the holiday spirit.
Ivan and the Outlaws will celebrate from 7 p.m.-12 a.m.
