The community is invited to join Ketron Church on Aug. 7 as they celebrate Ketron Church, the people and its legacy.

Located outside of Ronceverte on Rockland Road, Ketron Church sits on the mountaintop with the cemetery and picnic shelter in a small grove just below the church.

Worship service begins at 11 a.m. The speaker will be Al Morgan from Princeton. They hope you will join them for worship and singing in the “old country church.”

Following the worship service, members will gather at the Frank Whanger Picnic Shelter for a potluck lunch and a brief business meeting. Paper products and utensils will be provided. Please notify Karen West of any persons you would like added to the memorial list.

Masks will be available.

Because the homecoming was cancelled in 2020 and attendance last year was sparse, very few contributions have been received. Your donations for the upkeep of the church and mowing the cemetery are becoming more critical every year. If you have a loved one buried at Ketron, please consider honoring their memory by making a donation to Ketron Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 251 Ronceverte, WV 24970 Please plan to attend and bring family and friends as they visit and fellowship together.
