Martha Ann Greene- Workman of Poquoson, VA passed away on June 11, 2022.
Martha was born in Charleston, WV and grew up in Alderson, WV. Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Virginia Fitzgerald Greene and Carl Greene.
Martha graduated from Alderson High School, obtained an RN from C&O Railway Hospital School of Nursing, a BSN and a Master’s in Education from the University of Virginia, an MSN from Duke University, and a PHD in Clinical Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Martha was a retired Clinical Psychologist. She was a member of Kirkwood Presbyterian Church in Yorktown, VA.
Martha enjoyed time with her doggies, Dobby, Freddy, Oliver, and Teddy. Daily, she enjoyed the New York Times crossword puzzle, green tea, and dark chocolate. She was an avid University of Virginia and Duke University fan.
Survivors include her husband, Marcus; daughter, Virginia Singla (Shobhit); sister, Susan Hale (Darryl); niece, Sarah Kirby; nephews, Jamie Kirby (Donna) and David Kirby (Carrie); great-nephews and niece; and several cousins.
Any service of remembrance will be held at a later date.
