The Autumn Colors Express Train is now back on the 2022 Schedule and tickets are now available for purchase. The six-decade-old train ride starts in Huntington and winds its way through the majestic WV mountains that include the New River Gorge National Park and ends in the historic town of Hinton, WV.

Points of interest along the way are the Ghost town of Thurmond, scenic Sandstone Falls, and the New Rivier Gorge Bridge. The excursions also coincide with Hinton’s Railroad Days Festival which includes a street vendor food festival, and an extensive train table exhibition within Hinton’s train museum.

The train and cars themselves are vintage restored coaches built during the golden age of luxury train travel. Each car is unique and features large picture windows for excellent fall foliage viewing.

If you have children that are train fans, Hinton’s Railroad Days Festival is the best place to see all of the vintage coaches and trains up close and trackside.

A Video from The Fun Engineers takes viewers Trackside during the Hinton Railroad Days and looks at all of the vintage coaches of the Autumn Colors Express.

In 2022 the Autumn Colors Express departs on October 20, 21, 22, & 23

Tickets for the 2022 Autumn Colors Express are on sale now on their website: https://tinyurl.com/yf5tjys8
