GREENBRIER COUNTY W.Va. (WVDN) – The Greenbrier County Republican Club will hold its April meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 2, at Cook’s Country Kitchen at Hart’s Run.
A very interesting program will be presented by Judge Dan Greear of the WV Intermediate Court, who is running for a full term on the court in the nonpartisan election in May. Judge Greear was one of the initial judges of this relatively recently established court and will discuss why it was established and the cases it adjudicates. He is also expected to discuss why he is running for another term.
Judge Greear has also served as a Republican delegate in the House of Delegates.
The Club reminds the public that if you wish to vote in the Republican Primary Election in May, you must be registered as a Republican by April 29. The Republican Primary allows only registered Republicans to vote.
The public is invited to all Club meetings and is encouraged to come early to enjoy a delicious meal and fellowship prior to the meeting.
The Club Scholarship Fund is still accepting applications for students with Greenbrier County connections who will be attending West Virginia colleges, universities or community and technical colleges. Applications may be obtained by mailing a request to GCRCSF, P.O. Box 1300, Lewisburg, WV 24901.
