Charleston, W.Va. (WVDN) – Governor Patrick Morrisey announced the appointment of Donald L. Bennett to the West Virginia House of Delegates to represent District 94 in Berkeley County.

“Donald Bennett brings a strong record of service, leadership, and real-world experience to the House of Delegates,” said Governor Morrisey. “From his time in the United States Army to his work in healthcare and as a small business owner, he understands the challenges facing West Virginia families and is prepared to deliver results.”

A resident of Martinsburg for nearly two decades, Bennett works closely with healthcare providers to improve operations, ensure compliance, and address complex issues. He also owns and operates a small business serving clients across the region.

A U.S. Army veteran, Bennett served eight years as a Cavalry Scout leading teams in mission-critical operations requiring discipline, accountability, and strategic decision-making. He is also actively involved in the Berkeley County community.

“District 94 deserves a representative who understands the needs of working families, small businesses, and veterans,” Governor Morrisey said. “Donald has demonstrated a commitment to service and community that will serve his constituents well.”

Del. Bennett will serve the remainder of the term for the District 94 seat.
