Bob White, W.Va. (WVDN) — On Saturday, March 21, Troopers from the Boone County Detachment responded to a residence on Old Delta Road in Bob White, to investigate reports of a shooting.
Upon arrival Troopers discovered Tammy Rowe, 49, of Gordon, deceased from an apparent gunshot wound, and Shena Castle, 50, of Seth, suffering from a non-life threating gunshot wound.
After investigation, Troopers located and arrested Jerrys Hills, 60, of Bob White, for First Degree Murder and Malicious Wounding. Mr. Hills is currently housed at Southwestern Regional Jail.
The deceased victim was transported to the State Medical Examiner’s Office, where an autopsy will be conducted. Mrs. Castle was transported to Boone Memorial Hospital where she was treated and released.
The deceased next of kin has been notified.
The West Virginia State Police crime scene team assisted in this investigation.
