WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS W.Va. (WVDN) – Food Lion is running a three-week campaign to support local families in partnership with Feeding America. Food Lion’s Orange Bag and cash donations aim to nourish neighbors in the communities through the White Sulphur Springs Food Bank network in cooperation with Feeding America. The campaign runs from Feb. 25 to March 17, and emphasizes the shared goal of providing meals and hope to families in need.

Residents can purchase an orange bag for their family. Each orange bag purchased provides at least five meals to those in need. The meals donated through the Food Lion Feeds initiative support the local community through Feeding America. The impact stays close to home. During the campaign, shoppers may add a cash donation at checkout. Every dollar donated translates into ten more meals for individuals and families in need. These donations also benefit local families.

The West Virginia Daily News spoke with store manager Howard Fraley, who said, “We are passionate about serving our community.” The campaign reinforces this ongoing effort to assist neighbors in need right in White Sulphur Springs. The campaign’s impact is felt directly in your community by helping families access nourishing meals. The partnership between Food Lion and Feeding America’s effectiveness reflects a sustained commitment to serving the community beyond everyday shopping.
