Delbarton, W.Va. (WVDN) — On Sunday, February 15, Senior Trooper Ziegler responded to Logan Regional Medical Center to investigate an individual with a gunshot wound.
During the investigation, it was discovered that Keith Harvey McCoy, 68, of Delbarton, shot the victim, Keith Allen Kinser, 33, of Delbarton. The Shooting occurred on Day Star Road in Delbarton, WV.
The victim is listed as being in stable condition.
The West Virginia State Police Crime Scene Team responded to the scene to assist with the investigation.
Keith McCoy was charged with one count of malicious wounding and one count of prohibited person with a firearm (Habitual User). Mr. McCoy was arraigned at the Mingo County Magistrate’s Office and was released on bond.
This investigation remains ongoing.
