LEWISBURG W.Va. (WVDN) — Experience Greenbrier Valley (EGV) invites the community to join them at the kick-off of the organization’s 25th anniversary. EGV is marking the milestone by hosting a Business After Hours in conjunction with the Greater Greenbrier Chamber of Commerce. Join President and CEO Kara D. Dense, the Board of Directors and staff on February 26 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Greenbrier Valley Visitors Center.
“Throughout our 25 years, we’ve had the opportunity to work with our partners in sharing the story of the Greenbrier Valley,” Dense said. “This is not just a celebration of our organization but a celebration of everything we’ve done together to promote the Greenbrier Valley. We want to take time to reflect on the accomplishments throughout our shared history and look forward to what is next.”
As part of the evening, guests will be among the first to see the unveiling of the 2026 Greenbrier Valley Experience Guide at 5:30 p.m. The guide features original cover artwork by Jeanne Brenneman and highlights the experiences, places and stories that continue to shape the Greenbrier Valley.
Brenneman, a longtime Greenbrier County resident, began her art journey while her husband worked and her daughters attended school. She’s a founding member of Greenbrier Artists, a group that meets regularly to paint. Brenneman paints in her Lewisburg home studio, where she lives with her husband, Bruce, a retired research forester, and their goldendoodle, Nutmeg.
