Peggy Lee Loudermilk

Peggy Lee Loudermilk, 93, formerly of Frankford, South Charleston, and Morgantown, WV, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2026, at her residence in Morgantown following an extended illness.

She was born on September 4, 1932, in Spring Creek, WV. She was a daughter of the late Fred and Gladys Neal Henning Loudermilk. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ralph Loudermilk of Covington, VA; and her sister, Juanita Hodges (John) of Ronceverte, WV.

Peggy was a proud graduate of Frankford High School in 1949 and attended Henning Church of God. While in school, she was the Vice President her senior year, the Annual Literary Editor, and won poetry contests.

While living in the Lewisburg and Frankford area, she started her working career at Richmond Flowers in Lewisburg, then began her banking career at Greenbrier Valley Bank. Peggy moved to Charleston and continued her banking career, retiring from BB&T many years later.

Peggy was known by all for her love of fashion, cooking, entertaining, and WVU football. She will be remembered for making the absolute best lasagna and her famous cheese balls every Christmas for her family. Those recipes, and many more, will be continued as holiday traditions. She loved literature, travel, gardening, singing, and dancing.

Peggy is survived by her daughter, Connie Stone (Jim); grandson, Adrian Stone (Gayle); granddaughter, Katie Green (Bella); and two great-grandchildren, Scarlett and Madeline, all of Morgantown, WV; sister-in-law, Norma Loudermilk of Christiansburg, VA; and many loved cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services for Miss Loudermilk are scheduled for Sunday, February 1, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Pastor Robert “Rick” Hefner officiating; interment to follow at the Rosewood Cemetery in Lewisburg.

The family will receive family and friends from 1:30 p.m. until time of services on Sunday, February 1, 2026.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Henning Church of God, 3399 Vago Road, Frankford, WV 24938.
