Charleston, W.Va. (WVDN) – Delegate Daniel Linville (R-Cabell) today officially filed for re-election, pointing to a record of delivering results for House District 22 with major investments in infrastructure, meaningful tax reductions, and expanded broadband access for residents and businesses.
“Over the past few years, we’ve focused on doing the basics well—fixing what was broken, removing unnecessary red-tape, and making sure every community has access to reliable broadband internet,” said Linville. “This re-election campaign is about continuing that work and building on real progress because we are just getting started.”
Linville has been instrumental in providing funding for the water projects and the floodwall for Milton, supporting infrastructure projects across the district to include the Culloden I-64 Interchange. In the past year, Eastern Cabell County has also seen an expansion of businesses investing capital and creating jobs.
In addition, Linville voted for the largest tax cut in state history and a tax rebate on personal property taxes for individuals and small businesses.
“Better jobs, bigger paychecks, strong infrastructure, fair taxes, and dependable connectivity aren’t just talking points. They are the results we have delivered and I look forward to continue working for Eastern Cabell County,” added Linville
Daniel Linville was appointed in 2018 to the House of Delegates by then Governor Jim Justice. He is chairman of the Environment, Infrastructure and Technology Committee and serves on Banking and Insurance, Energy and Public Works, Finance, Revenue and Rules committees.
