Dear Editor,
I am appalled by the acts of our government. We are attacking foreign countries, ruining the NATO alliance, trying to take Greenland when we already have bases there to protect us as necessary, and ICE is attacking and killing innocent people on the streets. This isn’t America the land of the free and the brave. This is not the country West Virginians fought and died for; they died for freedom, not for a dictatorship. It is difficult to know what to do to stop the onslaught of attacks on democracy. The least we can do is write our representatives and let them know how we feel about the current situation.
