Charleston, W.Va. (WVDN) – Delegate Bob Fehrenbacher (R-11) has officially filed to run for the State Senate in District 3 which covers Pleasants, Ritchie, Wood and Wirt County.
“Since being elected, I have worked on creating jobs and supporting common sense solutions for our education system and infrastructure. I am excited to take my experience to the State Senate and continue the work we have started since I was first elected,” said Fehrenbacher, “I proudly voted in favor of the largest tax cut in state history and to give a rebate to our citizens and small businesses for the taxes that they pay in personal property tax.”
Fehrenbacher was first elected to the House of Delegates in 2022. Since then, he has been a sponsor on multiple bills designed to attract businesses to West Virginia and help retain the current job creators in the state.
“Our state businesses, big and small, are the backbone of our economy. Now is the time to focus on how we can improve our business climate to make it easier to do business in West Virginia,” added Fehrenbacher.
Currently, Fehrenbacher is the Chairman of the Energy and Manufacturing Committee in the House of Delegates. He also serves on the following committees: Finance, Appropriations, Banking and Insurance, Energy and Public Works. He and his wife, Annette live in Wood County.
