CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WVDN) — The West Virginia Division of Natural Resources (WVDNR) today announced that the following lakes and streams were stocked with trout during the week of Jan. 12:
- Cranberry River
- Greenbrier River (Marlinton)
- Kings Creek
- Little River West Fork Greenbrier River
- Miletree Lake
- Mountwood Park Lake
- North Bend Tailwaters
- North Fork South Branch (Catch and Release)
- Pennsboro Reservoir
- South Fork Cranberry River
- Summit Lake
- Tomlinson Run
- Tomlinson Run Lake
- Tracy Lake
- West Fork Greenbrier River
- Williams River
While daily trout stockings are not announced in advance, the WVDNR publishes a list of recently stocked waters at WVdnr.gov/fish-stocking. In the event of inclement weather, hatchery staff will make up missed stockings before the end of the month (weather permitting) by making additional stocking runs or adding extra fish to upcoming stockings. All anglers 15 years and older are required to have a West Virginia fishing license and a valid form of identification while fishing in the state of West Virginia. Trout stamps are required for those fishing for trout. Licenses and stamps may be purchased online at WVfish.com.
