FAIRLEA W.Va. (WVDN) – The GVAC Sea Dragons traveled to Charlottesville on Jan. 16 to compete in the Winter Rumble hosted by Cavalier Aquatics. Over 450 swimmers participated in the meet.

The Sea Dragons posted 30 personal best times, with Bianca Arnold, Avery Hodges-McGuffin and Mary Taylor improving by over 15% in a single event. The girls’ 9-10 medley relay team of Kennedy Willis, Lennie Taylor, Zoey Hobbs and Dolly Knight placed 8th and set a new team record for that event.

The Sea Dragons will host a meet at GVAC on Saturday, Jan. 31, at 10 a.m. Community members are encouraged to attend.
