Charleston, W.Va. (WVDN) – The West Virginia Board of Education (WVBE) will hold an emergency meeting on Friday, January 16, 2026, to address the Hancock County Schools fiscal crisis. The meeting will begin at 9 a.m., in the WVBE Boardroom, Suite 600, Building 6, 1900 Virginia Street, East, Charleston, West Virginia 25305.

The meeting agenda will be posted on the WVBE events page on the WVDE website.
