LEWISBURG W.Va. (WVDN) – We have received reports of possible ICE activity in the Lewisburg and Ronceverte areas of Greenbrier County this morning, Jan. 7. Some community members reported a traffic stop that appeared to involve Immigration Enforcement in which multiple individuals were detained. Sources indicated that the individuals may work at a local restaurant. While we have not yet confirmed this, The West Virginia Daily News did confirm that the indicated restaurant announced this morning that it would be closed for the day.

We are working to gain more information and confirm details. The WVDN team will provide updates as they become available.
