FAIRLEA W.Va. (WVDN) – Businesses across Greenbrier County now have a powerful new way to invest in employee wellness. The Greenbrier Valley Aquatic Center (GVAC) has launched a Corporate Membership program that gives employers the opportunity to provide year-round aquatic, fitness, and wellness access to their employees and their families. Starting at $300 per month for up to five employees, these flexible memberships include access to lap swimming, family and therapy pools, a full gym, seasonal outdoor spaces, a luxury senior room, and more, creating an affordable, high-impact benefit for businesses of all sizes.

“People who never considered a membership before are now calling it their healthy, stay-at-home vacation,” said GVAC Founder TAG Galyean. “We’re seeing employees of corporate members bringing their kids, grandkids—entire families—to the pool. It’s multi-generational fun and fitness.” Several local employers—including Smooth Ambler Spirits, Greenbrier Real Estate Service, and Greenbrier County Schools—have already joined the program, with Corporate Members recognized on a new display in the Competition Pool area.

This momentum comes at a pivotal moment for GVAC. Thanks to a generous grant from The Peyton Fund, all GVAC loans are now paid, making the Aquatic Center 100% member-owned. In an effort to keep the facility sustainable, GVAC is aiming to add 250 new memberships in 2026—and corporate participation plays a crucial role. “This is an affordable way for businesses to support the well-being of their teams while strengthening our community facility,” Galyean said.

To encourage growth, GVAC has rolled out its 2026 Membership Deals, offering strong incentives for both new and current members. First-time members who join in January receive their second month free, and those who pay in advance can get 12 months for the price of 10—an offer also available as a gift. Current members can earn free months by referring others, with no limit, including three free months for every new Corporate Membership they bring in.

The call to action is simple but impactful: refer a friend, encourage your workplace to join, or become a member yourself. Supporting GVAC means investing in local wellness, family health, and a community-owned resource that serves all ages.
