GREEMBRIER COUNTY W.Va. (WVDN) – “We’re back!” The Greenbrier Artists have had an extra busy season since their annual meeting in September at Carnegie. They participated in their best-ever Taste of the Town and had a lovely art show at the Visitors’ Center during October. They have presented several short demos and have painted many more slates, which sell in local shops.
They ended their 50th Anniversary year with 70 members from several counties and will be starting 2026 with an exhibit at Carnegie Hall in the Old Stone Room during January and February. Everyone is invited to come meet the artists during the art walk on Friday, Jan. 9, 2026.
The artists meet each Thursday morning in the Kellar Studio (3rd floor, Carnegie Hall) to paint, learn new skills, and critique paintings. Various artists present short demos and share ideas. If artists (all levels, including beginners) are interested, come by Kellar Studio at 9 a.m. and bring whatever tools you enjoy working with.
Don’t forget to check out the new show in the Old Stone Room at Carnegie Hall on Church Street beginning Jan. 9, 2026. The art walk begins at 5.
