GREENBRIER COUNTY W.Va. (WVDN) – Greenbrier County Sheriff Bart Baker is proud to announce the graduation and certification of Deputy Thad Fullen. Deputy Fullen graduated from the 201st Basic Officer’s Course at the West Virginia State Police Academy on Dec. 12.

The basic officer’s course is 16 weeks of intense law enforcement training that every law enforcement officer in West Virginia must complete to become a certified officer. Deputy Fullen will return to Greenbrier County and be assigned to B shift to complete a 90-day Field Training Course working under the supervision of a Field Training Officer, then assigned to his permanent shift.

Deputy Fullen is a Monroe County Native and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He is very excited to continue his duty by serving the citizens and visitors of Greenbrier County.

Sheriff Baker states that Deputy Fullen is a young man of the finest quality, who served his country with honor and distinction. Deputy Fullen will do the same for Greenbrier County and will be a huge asset for the department.
