WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.Va. (WVDN) — Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025, is shaping up to be one of the busiest days of the holiday season in the Greenbrier Valley, with major Christmas events scheduled in White Sulphur Springs.
White Sulphur Springs has planned a packed schedule of holiday fun, spanning from morning to night:
Breakfast with the Grinch (9 a.m.–12 p.m.): The Kiwanis Club of the Greenbrier Valley and the White Sulphur Springs (WSS) Elementary PTO are teaming up to host a pancake breakfast fundraiser at the White Sulphur Springs Elementary cafeteria. The event includes photos with the Grinch. Tickets are $10 per person and $5 for ages 11 and under. This event supports White Sulphur Springs Elementary students and PTO initiatives.
Santa at the Library (11 a.m.): Following breakfast, Santa Claus will be greeting children at the White Sulphur Springs Library.
Shopping in Town: Local businesses along Main Street will have various hours for holiday shopping throughout the day.
Christmas Parade (6 p.m. start): Participants for the annual Christmas Parade are instructed to line up at 5 p.m., with the parade officially beginning at 6 p.m.
Tree Lighting and WV Jazz Orchestra: The evening will conclude immediately following the parade with the annual Tree Lighting ceremony, featuring the WV Jazz Orchestra, held at the Main Street Gazebo and Old School Brewery area.
