FAIRLEA W.Va. (WVDN) – According to a criminal complaint, in a case dating back to March 4, an officer with the Lewisburg Police Department and Greenbrier Valley Drug and Violent Crime Task Force conducted a controlled drug buy from Logan Lee Sims. A cooperating individual reportedly met with Sims under the supervision and direction of an officer in the vicinity of Fairlea.
The individual cooperating with the officer provided Sims with an amount of money provided by the officer. Sims, in return, allegedly gave the cooperating individual fentanyl. The officer then gathered the fentanyl from the individual who was cooperating with law enforcement. The officer placed it in storage at the Greenbrier Valley Drug and Violent Task Force.
Sims was booked into Southern Regional Jail on Nov. 20 and is on $100,000 bond.
