RONCEVERTE- Lewisburg Elks Lodge # 1758 coordinated a community project to provide new winter coats, gloves, toboggans, and to encourage Ronceverte Elementary students to obtain and utilize Ronceverte Public Library cards.

The Lewisburg Lodge obtained a grant from the Elks National Foundation to purchase winter coats for identified students in each classroom. The Ronceverte Elementary School staff helped identify these students.

The Episcopal Church of the Incarnation provided toboggans and gloves for the students. The Ronceverte Lions Club provided a book and Peoples Bank provided additional support in selecting and obtaining the coats.

The Ronceverte Public Library distributed library cards. The Lewisburg Elks would like to thank all those that aided in this worthwhile project.

Pictured distributing coats, toboggans, gloves, and books are L to R: Sherry Davis, Ronceverte Public Library Librarian, Kristen Glasser, Ronceverte Elementary Counselor, and Sheila Callison, local Elk.
