CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WVDN) — West Virginia State Parks officials today announced that several park restaurants across the state will host Thanksgiving dinners and buffets on Thursday, Nov. 27, giving families the chance to enjoy a festive, home-cooked meal without the stress of preparation or cleanup.

“Thanksgiving is about spending time with loved ones, and our parks provide the perfect place to slow down and enjoy good food and good company,” said Dillard Price, acting chief of West Virginia State Parks. “Whether you’re joining us for dinner or staying the weekend, our staff looks forward to making your holiday both memorable and relaxing.”

Thanksgiving meals will be served at the following park restaurants:

  • Prospects Restaurant at Cacapon Resort State Park
  • The Overlook Restaurant at Hawks Nest State Park
  • Last Run Restaurant at North Bend State Park
  • Bluestone Dining Room at Pipestem Resort State Park
  • Twin Falls Restaurant at Twin Falls Resort State Park
  • The Lodge Restaurant at Tygart Lake State Park

Dining options include traditional chef-inspired Thanksgiving favorites, seasonal sides and desserts. Meal times and prices vary by location, and guests are encouraged to make reservations early and consider extending their stay with an overnight lodge room or cabin.
