YOU ARE NOTIFIED that a Petition for Adoption has been filed in this Court regarding the minor child. The Petitioners are seeking to terminate your parental rights and to adopt said child.
You are required to serve a copy of your written defenses, if any, to this action, on the Petitioners’ attorney: Leah-Ann Clay, Esq., Miami Family Law Group, PLLC, 2665 S. Bayshore Drive, Suite 100, Coconut Grove, Florida 33133, Telephone: 305-701-2901, email: lclay@miafamilylaw.com on or before December 24, 2025, and file the original with the Clerk of this Court at: Clerk of the Circuit Court, Hernando County Courthouse, 20 N. Main Street, Ste 246, Brooksville, FL 34601 before service on Petitioners’ attorney or immediately thereafter.
If you fail to do so, a judgment may be entered against you for the relief demanded in the Petition, including termination of your parental rights and adoption of the minor child. Copies of all court documents in this case, including orders, are available at the Clerk of the Circuit Court’s office. You may review these documents upon request.
