LEWISBURG W.Va. (WVDN) – Lewisburg Elementary students truly knocked our socks off! For October’s Act of Kindness, the school collected an incredible 2,235 pairs of socks to spread warmth and kindness throughout the community.
A big round of applause to Ms. Callison’s class, who collected 404 pairs and earned a well-deserved pizza party.
And an extra-special shoutout to Raelynn Lester, who brought in an amazing 380 pairs of socks all on her own — what an inspiring example of generosity.
All donated socks will be shared with:
Greenbrier Community in Schools,
Children’s Home Society,
Family Refuge Center,
Lewisburg Healthcare Center,
Seneca Trail Healthcare.
The LES PTO Board is incredibly proud of their students, families and staff for showing such big hearts and strong community spirit.
