CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WVDN) — West Virginia State Parks officials today announced the return of its Veterans Salute Savings promotion, which honors veterans and active-duty military personnel with a 50 percent discount on lodge and cabin stays throughout November.
The special offer is available until Nov. 30 and can be used on stays through March 15, 2026, using the code VET50 when booking online.
“Our veterans and active-duty military personnel have given so much to protect our freedom, and this is one small way we can show our appreciation,” said West Virginia State Parks acting chief Dillard Price. “We hope this discount encourages them to take time to relax, explore our parks and enjoy the beauty and tranquility of West Virginia.”
The discount applies to stays at all West Virginia state park lodges and cabins, with the exception of Stonewall Resort, Blackwater Falls and Canaan Valley Resort state parks. Blackout dates include Nov. 24-30 and Dec. 22-28. To receive the discount, guests must present a valid Veteran’s ID Card at check-in.
