Beckley, W.Va. (WVDN)— The Beckley-Raleigh County Marketing Committee is proud to announce an expansion of its Tourism Grant Assistance Program, designed to strengthen tourism, increase overnight visitation, and stimulate the local economy.
This marketing and advertising grant is designed to assist non-profit or other qualifying entities that host events and/or festivals that are open to the public in the Beckley-Raleigh County area. The grant funds will need to be expended to advertise the event with an emphasis on marketing to travelers outside of a 50-mile radius to generate overnight stays, increase visitation, and heighten brand awareness.
This program now offers up to $3,000 per event. Funding is available through two grant cycles, with application deadlines of December 15, 2025 and March 1, 2026. Applications must be submitted at least 3 months prior to the event date.
Another key improvement this year is the transition to a new online application option, streamlining the process and improving accessibility for organizations across Raleigh County.
