UNION W.Va. (WVDN) – The Greenbrier East and Monroe County FFA chapters are thrilled to announce a joint fundraiser hosted by the beautiful Hanna Farmstead in Union.
On Friday, Nov. 1, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., the Hanna family will open their farm to the community to help support both chapters as they prepare for their first-ever international trip—an educational agricultural tour of Ireland in 2026.
This special event will feature a full day of fall fun for all ages, including delicious food, local vendors, hayrides, games, and more—all set against the stunning landscape of Monroe County farmland. The fundraiser will help cover travel expenses for students and advisors as they explore global agriculture, gain hands-on learning experiences, and represent West Virginia on an international stage.
The Greenbrier East and Monroe County FFA chapters extend their deepest gratitude to the Hanna family for their generosity, hospitality, and unwavering support of agricultural education. Events like this highlight the strength of the local ag community and the shared dedication to developing the next generation of agricultural leaders.
