LEWISBURG W.Va. (WVDN) — The Greenbrier County Public Library is delighted to announce the Friends of the Library Annual Salad Luncheon Fundraiser, set to take place on Thursday, November 6, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Lewisburg United Methodist Church. This beloved community tradition brings together library supporters for a delicious and refreshing lunch—all for a great cause.
Guests will enjoy a variety of homemade salads, turkey, ham, breads, desserts, and beverages, lovingly prepared by library volunteers, Friends members and community members. Whether you’re a fan of classic potato salad, tangy pasta creations, or inventive seasonal greens, there’s something for everyone on the menu.
Tickets are $12 in advance and $13 at the door, with all proceeds directly supporting library programs, services, and resources. From children’s story hours to technology upgrades and community workshops, every dollar helps the library continue to serve as a vital hub of learning and connection.
“The Salad Luncheon is more than just a meal—it’s a celebration of community and a show of support for the vital work our library does,” said Ann Farr, Library Director. “We’re grateful for the volunteers who make this event possible and for the community members who attend year after year.”
Whether you’re a longtime supporter or a first-time guest, the Annual Salad Luncheon is the perfect way to enjoy good food and great company while helping the library grow and thrive.
