To all West Virginians:
The US government is shut down because Democrats want to continue health care for over 42 million Americans, which includes many West Virginians. Think about what health insurance means to you and your family.
All of Congress could step up and say yes to these Americans. Yet the loss of this “Yes” now includes lost wages, closed buildings and services, and the possible loss of food stamps for over 40 million people. About 270,000 of these are West Virginians.
Congress is controlled by one party. If they want to support the American people, they will vote to keep health care, and stop the loss of people’s income and food security.
