CHARLESTON W.Va. (WVDN) -Award-winning West Virginia author and filmmaker Daniel Boyd will be at the West Virginia Book Festival this Saturday, October 25, at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center in Charleston, for book signings and meet-and-greets with fans.
He’ll be bringing the fun to the Headline Books booth from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, signing and sharing his beloved children’s favorites, WrestleDreamia, Tavey’s First Hunt, Miss Dirt Turtle’s Garden Club, and The Adventures of Wandala!
You can also meet him at the Mountain State Press booth from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, signing and talking about his new magical realist novella, God’s Pool in Particle Park. His latest book, released earlier this Fall, brings a touch of magical realism to the fictional town of Nottus, West Virginia, where history, science, and love intertwine. A ghostly librarian, a mysterious scientist, and a cast of eccentric townsfolk bring this tale to life, a story about connection, redemption, and the thin veil between worlds.
