LEWISBURG W.Va. (WVDN) – Join us in the Carnegie Hall Leather Shop on Saturday, October 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a hands-on workshop in Appalachian heritage craft: Custom Leather Belts, led by instructor Luke Davis.
This beginner-level class introduces students ages 12 and up to the basics of leatherworking, using a wide selection of custom tools provided by the instructor. Participants will design and create their own custom leather belt, learning techniques that result in a finished piece that’s both beautiful and built to last.
The workshop is limited to just eight students to ensure personalized instruction. The cost is $125 for members and $135 for nonmembers, with a special student rate of only $60, thanks to available scholarships provided by the Cardinal Fund and the Greenbrier County Community Foundation.
Whether you’re exploring a new hobby or reconnecting with traditional crafts, this workshop offers a meaningful and memorable experience. To register or learn more, visit carnegiehallwv.org or call (304) 645-7917.
