LEWISBURG W.Va. (WVDN) – This October, step into the shadows of history with the Candlelit Cemetery Tours, a spine-tingling collaboration between Carnegie Hall WV and the Greenbrier Historical Society. Held on select nights—October 16, 17, 24, and 25—these intimate guided walks offer a rare glimpse into the lives (and deaths) of some of Lewisburg’s most storied residents.
By flickering candlelight, guests will explore sections of two historic cemeteries, uncovering the secrets behind notable grave markers and the fascinating figures they commemorate. From archival facts to whispered legends, each tour is led by expert guides from the Greenbrier Historical Society and concludes with a private viewing of a seasonally themed exhibit at The North House Museum.
