Caldwell, W.Va. (WVDN) – This holiday season, Riverbend Garden Center invites the community to celebrate the season in style at its very first Holiday Market on November 28 and 29 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This festive event offers a full holiday experience for the whole family.
The two-day celebration will feature fresh-cut Christmas trees, poinsettias, and garland, along with a curated selection of local artisans offering handcrafted jewelry, pottery, soaps, ceramics, and other seasonal goods. Guests can enjoy delicious food from local vendors, cozy up at the cocoa and cider station, and make memories around the fire pits roasting s’mores. Santa will also be on site for families to take their own holiday photos.
“The Holiday Market is more than shopping, it’s a celebration of community, craftsmanship, and holiday traditions,” says Byron Black, owner of Riverbend Garden Center. “We’re excited to bring people together for something special right here in Caldwell.”
Adding a meaningful touch, the Greenbrier East High School Marching Band will be operating the cocoa and cider station, as well as selling s’mores kits to raise funds for their trip to represent West Virginia at the 81st Pearl Harbor Memorial Commemoration in Hawaii. A portion of the holiday market proceeds will support the band, giving guests the opportunity to celebrate the season while also giving back to their community.
“We’re thrilled to bring people together to enjoy the season, support local artisans, and help the students of Greenbrier East take their music to a national stage,” says Black.
With 25 years of experience as a Christmas tree farmer and a degree in Landscape Architecture from West Virginia University, Black plans to revamp Riverbend Garden Center into a destination for quality products and community-focused experiences. “We’re excited to create memorable experiences and host more events like this in the future,” says Black.
The Riverbend Holiday Market is free to attend and open to all ages. Bring your family, invite your neighbors, and make new memories in Caldwell this holiday season.
