FAIRLEA- The Spartans suffered their second loss of the season this past Friday night at the hands of Princeton, 35-14, but quarterback Brody Hamric still did his thing and tried his best to keep his Spartans within striking distance which he did for most of the night.
For his performance, Hamric is the West Virginia Daily New player of the game for week seven.
The senior quarterback completed 19-of-36 passes for 201 yards and two touchdowns. He found Nate Suttle in the first half for a 22-yard score and then hit an open Grant Burdette in the third quarter off a play action pass.
Hamric and the Spartans face Nicholas County this week in Summersville.
