LEWISBURG W.Va. (WVDN) – The Greenbrier River Watershed Association is extending an open invitation to its annual membership meeting.
Officials said, “Please join us Wed. Oct. 15, 6:30 pm at the Clingman Center in Lewisburg. Come meet us and enjoy some food and beverages. Become a new member or renew your membership!”
Board members will be available to answer questions about what they do to support the watershed and where your membership dues, donations and grants go. Consider signing up to volunteer.
Dr. Matthew Williams, WVSOM, will give a presentation on the first two years of their water quality project.
Officials said, “We are grateful for our teams of volunteers throughout our watershed from Durbin to Hinton. They have spent over 1000 hours these past two years, gathering water samples and data for this important project, we thank you all!
“We have a lot of other things happening, learn about our PFAS testing project and check out our calendar.”
Following the presentation, they will hold their regular meeting with the annual election of officers.
