LEWISBURG W.Va. (WVDN) – The Lewisburg Planning Commission will hold an open house to solicit input for the City’s Comprehensive Plan Update. There will be no speeches or presentations; the purpose of the meetings is to hear from you.
Anyone interested is welcome to drop in during the posted hours to share ideas, express concerns, and help shape a vision for Lewisburg’s future. Various stations will be set up where input on specific topics will be gathered. The open house will be held on Thursday, October 16 ,from 3-6 p.m. at the Greenbrier Valley Visitors Center at 905 Washington Street XV in Lewisburg.
The purpose of a comprehensive plan update is to establish a vision for the future of Lewisburg and recommend specific projects that the city should invest in. Public input is essential to determine the priorities of residents, business owners, and other stakeholders.
The development of the Comprehensive Plan Update is being led by the West Virginia University College of Law Land Use and Sustainable Development Law Clinic (LUSDC).
