LEWISBURG W.Va. (WVDN) – Musical artist Cody Wickline will perform in the Green Space from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

The Greenbrier Valley Visitors Center welcomes October with two annual art openings. Greenbrier Artists, a group of over ninety artists living in and around Greenbrier County, will grace the gallery with their annual show. Featured in the Art Alcove will be West Virginia Woodturners, with a unique display of one-of-a-kind creations. Join the Greenbrier Historical Society on Friday, October 3rd, from 5 PM to 6 PM for another installment of the Our Stories First Friday Lecture Series: Clan Hannay Calling with Rick Hanna! Rick Hanna will be discussing the history of Clan Hannay in the Lowlands of Southwestern Scotland, through the present, and a Hanna family migration through Ireland to America and eventually homesteading in the Big Levels of Greenbrier Country. The 30-40 minute presentation will be followed by a question-and-answer session. Mark your calendars and join Rick to hear about Clan Hannay, Sorbie Tower, and Rick’s genealogy journey!
