WEST VIRGINIA (WVDN) – West Virginia Junior College (WVJC) School of Nursing is excited to announce that its RN to BSN program is now offered fully online and has been shortened to just six months. This fast and flexible online program is designed to help working registered nurses further their education without putting their careers on hold.
The RN to BSN program builds on the knowledge and skills RNs already have, providing advanced training in leadership, community health, and specialized care. Through online classes and virtual simulation software, BSN students can complete coursework based on their own schedule, making it accessible for busy healthcare professionals.
This exciting advancement is a testament to the dedication of WVJC School of Nursing to meeting student needs and making a difference in the community. “By offering the RN to BSN program fully online and in an accelerated format, we’re giving nurses the chance to further their education with flexibility, while continuing to make a difference in patient lives,” said Samantha Esposito, WVJC President.
Graduates of WVJC’s RN to BSN program are prepared for leadership roles in healthcare, nursing specialty positions, and higher education. Interested students must have an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) and have passed the NCLEX-RN licensure exam to obtain an active RN license to enroll in this program.
