UPERT W.Va. (WVDN) – The Rupert CEOS Club held its regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday, September 11, at 1 P.M. at the Rupert Library.  The meeting was opened by the newly elected President, Deloris Lilly, followed by everyone reciting our Pledge of Allegiance.  Devotions were given by Deloris Lilly.  Minutes were read by the secretary, Gail Fleshman; the treasury report by the Treasurer, Mary George.  Following the various committee reports, plans were made for the October meeting to create “Trick or Treat” bags for the Children’s Home Society in Rupert.  Also, Halloween cards will be created for the Children’s Home and both Nursing Homes in Rainelle and Rupert.  The meeting was adjourned by reciting the “Club Collect” Creed, followed by delicious refreshments brought by Deloris Lilly.  Our next meeting will be on Thursday, October 9th at 1:00 P.M. at the Rupert Library.  We invite anyone who would like to come and share with us to help serve in many community activities.
