Chester “Bucky” Feamster, Jr.
Chester “Bucky” Feamster, Jr., 84, of White Sulphur Springs, passed on September 15, 2025 at 4 a.m. at the White Sulphur Springs Family Care Center.
He was born September 22, 1940, in Alderson, WV, the son of the late Chester Feamster, Sr. and Virginia Meador Feamster.
Bucky was a former member of the Feamster Memorial Baptist Church in Alderson. He served 4 years in the U. S. Air Force and was a retired employee of 32 years with CSX Railroad.
Bucky was a talented musician on guitar, piano, and vocals in solo performances and two bands – Country Classics of Greenbrier County and Dapper Dans of North Carolina.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and three half brothers, Joe, Dale, and Phil Feamster.
Survived by his wife, Linda Sue Corron Feamster, of 54 years of marriage; son, Michael (Pam) Feamster of Roanoke, VA; a sister, Beverly (Leroy) Pack of North Carolina; a half sister, Gay Van Harmon of Michigan; and a half sister-in-law, Carolyn Feamster of Alderson.
Funeral services for Bucky Feamster will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 1 p.m. at the White Sulphur Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Gene Sizemore officiating. Interment will follow at the Hillcrest Cemetery in White Sulphur Springs.
The family will receive family and friends from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. at the church on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.
