New River CTC announces upcoming in-person electrical retraining for mine electricians

SUMMERSVILLE, W.Va. (WVDN) — New River Community and Technical College will hold in-person electrical retraining for mine electricians on Tuesday, Oct. 28, and Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Nicholas County Campus, 6101 Webster Rd., Summersville, WV.

The 8-hour training fulfills the annual retraining requirement for licensed mine electricians, ensuring they remain certified and up to date on safety practices critical to the mining industry.
